Chapter 8: Converting Legacy Installations Using the Repackager Interface

Working With Repackager Projects

Task:
To convert an InstallShield Professional Log File (.isl) to a Repackager project (which can
subsequently be built into a Windows Installer package):
1.
Launch Repackager.
2.
From the File menu, select Open.
3.
In the Open dialog box, change the Files of type filter to InstallShield Pro Log Files (*.isl).
4.
Browse to locate the InstallShield Professional log file you want to convert.
5.
Select the file, and click OK.
The log file is converted to a Repackager project. Files,
project are visible through the appropriate views in the Repackager Interface.
