However, when this Windows Installer package is converted to an App-V application, the build engine will map the
files in the Primary Application Directory to the mount point. So,
C:\Program Files\Softco\My Application 6.0\MyApp\myapp.exe
becomes:
Q:\SoftcoMyApp.006\My Application 6.0\MyApp\myapp.exe
Also, all other references to this file—such as those in the Registry, INI files, and in Window Services—are rewired
to point to the actual file location in the App-V package.
Note • This assumes that virtual packages are mounted on the drive.
