FTP (File Transfer Protocol)
File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is a file transfer service that functions across the Internet. A
system running the FTP server accepts commands from a system running an FTP client. FTP
is not a secure protocol. Your file transfers could be subject to snooping.
FTPS (File Transfer Protocol over TLS)
File Transfer Protocol over TLS (FTPS) is a file transfer service that uses TLS (Transport
Layer Security) for secure transfers across the Internet.
