Chapter 10 Instant Internet unit configuration, support, and diagnostics
Telnet – A service that provides terminal-emulation capabilities for logging in
to the Instant Internet unit from a remote location. The default is to leave this
option turned on. For more information about how to use this service with the
Instant Internet unit refer to Reference for the BayStack Instant Internet
Remote Access Commands Version 7.11.
To enable diagnostic IP tools:

Start Setup, and if prompted, select a unit to configure.

Choose Support > Services.
The Services dialog box opens

Select the check box of each diagnostic IP tool you want to enable.

Click OK.

Testing connections

If you are having trouble accessing the Internet or a particular host, you can use
several diagnostic tools to test these connections.
