Setting deletion of documents after transmission

Entering an I.D. code


(1) Press [OverWrte].
• If you set the overwrte functon to [ON], newly receved documents wll over-
wrte documents prevously stored n memory.
(2) Select ether [ON] or [OFF], then press [Enter].
(1) Press [Prev] or [Next], then press [Erase Tx Doc].
• When Erase Tx Doc has been set to [ON], the machne erases the document
from the box as soon as t sends t.
(2) Select ether [ON] or [OFF], then press [Enter].
(1) Press [I.D.Code].
• You do not always need to regster the I.D. code. Once you regster t, how-
ever, enterng the I.D. code s requred n the followng cases.
• When edtng the box settngs
• When storng documents n the box
• When prntng the document stored n the box
• Once entered, the I.D. code cannot be vewed. Be sure to remember ths code.
• To release the I.D. code, first enter the current regstered I.D. code and then
enter "0000".
(2) Enter the I.D. code (4 dgts) usng the numerc keys, then press [Enter].
• If you enter an ncorrect character, press [Clear] to delete t and enter the
correct character.
