• When you enter the fax number, [Locaton] s dsplayed on the dsplay. To check or
delete the entered number, press [Locaton] (page 4-24).

Press <FAX> to dsplay the Fax standby mode.
Set the document n the ADF or on the document glass. (See page 1-33 for
detals.)
Set each functon as necessary.
• Usng the useful transmsson functons (page 4-17)
• Usng the advanced functons (page 5-1)
Specfy the destnaton fax number.
Using the numeric keys
Enter the destnaton number usng the numerc keys and press [Enter].
• Up to 40 dgts can be entered.
• If you enter an ncorrect number, press [Clear] and delete t.
• You can enter the dalng characters (page 3-3).
Using the address book
(1) Press [Page Up] or [Page Down] to dsplay the desred destnaton.
(2) Press the destnaton. The document s scanned mmedately and transms-
son starts.
If you want to specfy multple destnatons, use broadcast transmsson (see
page 4-23) or call group dalng (see page 3-23).
