Changing Document Scan in Mid Scan (Mixed Transmission)
The document glass or the ADF can scan the document. Both scannng devces can
be used n combnaton, such as for a cover page and map, and transmtted at the
same tme.
NOTE
Bascs for scannng the next document
• To scan the next document, set the Next Doc settng to [Yes] whle scannng the
current document.
• The ADF's default settng for Next Doc s [No]. To have the next document
scanned, press [Yes] whle scannng the current document.
• For the document glass, the default settng for Next Doc s set to [Yes].
• If you set Next Doc to [No] durng scannng, the transmsson wll begn after
scannng s completed.

Set the document n the ADF.
(1) Press <FAX> to dsplay the Fax standby mode.
(2) Specfy the destnaton.
• Use the numerc keys to dal the number.

• Specfy the destnaton usng the address book. (See page 3-13.)
– or –
• When specfyng multple destnatons, use broadcast transmsson (see page
4-23) or call group dalng (see page 3-23).
Press <Reset> to cancel the settngs.
