Check for blown fuse"

Possible Cause(s)
The SCSI cable is not
connected properly.
The SCSI cable is
defective.
The Scanner SCSI ID is
set improperly.
The power to the
Scanner is off.
The Scanner fuse has
blown.
You have connected the
Scanner to a different
computer (or to the same
computer to which you
recently connected an
additional SCSI device),
resulting in a SCSI ID
conflict.
Suggested Solution(s)
Verify that the SCSI cable is
connected properly between the
computer and the Scanner. If not,
turn both off, reconnect them,
and try again.
Use another SCSI cable.
Reset the Scanner SCSI ID so that
it is different from other devices
connected to the computer. To
do so, turn off the computer,
then the Scanner. Reset the
Scanner SCSI ID. Restart and try
again.
Turn off the computer. Turn on
the Scanner, then the computer
and try again.
Determine the cause of the
blown fuse and correct it. Then
replace the fuse as described in
Appendix E.
Reset the Scanner SCSI ID so that
it is different from other devices
connected to the computer. To
do so, turn off the computer then
the Scanner, set the Scanner to a
unique SCSI ID, turn on the
Scanner then the computer, and
try again.
