V. Checking of foot-control functioning
•
Attach foot control.
What to test:
•
Foot control function is diplayed on the stitch-length bar.
Target state:
0 = Foot control is not pressed.
>
4 = Foot control is fully pressed down.
Repair notes:
•
Check foot control cable for deformation, damage and loose contacts.
•
Check ceramic plate and carbon pins holder for proper fitting and functioning.
•
Replace PCBA-Base
Do not remove or plug in any connections when the sewing computer is switched on or
connected to the power supply.
VI. Checking of speed-control functioning
•
Foot control must not be connected.
What to test:
•
Speed-control function is displayed on the stitch-length bar.
Target state:
0 = Speed-control slide sits at the far left
>
5 = Speed-control slide sits at the far right
Repair notes:
•
Check speed control for dirt and mechanical ease of movement.
•
Replace PCBA-Base
Do not remove or plug in any connections when the sewing computer is switched on or
connected to the power supply.
