5.7 Synchronising disc

5.7.1 Position of synchronizing disc

Note: The machine must be switched on in order to use the Service Program. Please refer to the safety
instructions.
Check:
5. Remove main motor lower screw,
loosen upper screw. Then move
motor up and secure.
6. Use pinning tool 002733.50.00 to
pin hook driver crank.
7. Refit front cover (Chapter 4 item
4.1.5 Front cover).
8. Start the machine in the service
program.
9. Signal (pos) 3 lights up.
10. Remove pinning tool.
11. Turn handwheel a little further, the light of
signal (pos.) 3 must go out immediately.
Correction:
12. Use pinning tool 002733.50.00 to pin hook
driver crank.
13. Start the machine in the service program.
14. Slightly loosen scrwe 10 (T8).
15. Fit synchronizing disc into its correct position.
16. Retighten screw 10 (T8)
Important!
Axial moving of the synchronizing disc may cause damage to the sensors on PCBA-
base.

5.7.2 Mechanical basic setting of balance

Check:
17. Use adjusting tool 030349.70.00 (on the flat
side) to pin main-shaft balance piece.
18. Use pinning tool 001356.50.00 to pin balance
adjusting cam, applying the tool from
handwheel side.
19. Stitch-length crank 2 should now be in pinning
position.
