4.3 Mechanical Components

4.3.1 Main motor

Note: The motor can only be replaced as a whole unit.
Disassembly:
•
Remove covers
•
Pull motor connection cable out of duct
(remove clip 3).
•
Slide ventilation fan off.
•
Remove two screws 11 (T20 M4X16 along with
spring washer 4.3 X 8 X 0.5).
•
Remove motor.
Assembly:
•
Refit motor with two screws 11 (T20 M4X16
along with spring washer 4.3 X 8 X 0.5).
•
Adjust belt tension
•
Refit ventilation fan.
•
Re-insert motor connection cable into duct (attach clip 3).
•
Refit covers.
•
Adjust speed (Chapter 6 test 6 Speed
•
Functional check.
•
Sewing-off.

4.3.2 Winder

Disassembly:
•
Remove covers
•
Remove screw 14 (T20 M4X10).
•
Replace winder

•
Reattach winder with fastening screw 14

Refit covers.
