4.3.7 Thread take-up lever cover

Disassembly:
•
Remove covers
•
Loosen two screws 14 (T20 M4X10).
•
Remove thread take-up lever cover.
Assembly:
•
Refit thread take-up lever cover.
•
Retighten two screws 14 (T20 M4X10).
•
Place release piece on screw and set tension
release mechanism.
•
Adjust stitch-width stop
Zigzag stitch width
•
Refit covers.
•
Check thread-tension release mechanism
•
Adjust thread tension
•
Functional check.
•
Sewing-off.

4.3.8 Regulator spring

Disassembly:
•
Remove head cover.
•
loosen screw 17 (T10 M3X5).
•
Remove thumb wheel 16.
•
Remove regulator spring 15.
Assembly:
•
Refit regulator spring 15.
•
Position thumb wheel 16, taking care that the
regulator spring sits in the bore.
•
Refit and sligthtly tighten screw 17 (T10 M3X5).
•
Adjust thread regulator spring
•
Retighten screw 17 (T10 M3X5).
•
Refit head cover.
