Test 9 Stitch-length stepping motor test

Set needle bar to top dead centre (TDC).
Select test no. 9.
Target state:
Stitch-length stepping motor turns back and forth.
Stitch-length bar display flashes.
Needle bar moves back and forth.
Press clr to exit test and to return to service program basic position.
Repair notes:
If the feed-dog doesn't move at all or not fully, feed-dog and crankshaft parts must be
checked for mechanical smooth-running.
If the stepping motor doesn't move, the fault might be with the stepping motor or the
PCBA-Base.
Swap connections of stepping motors on PCBA-Base to find the defective PCB.
Do not remove or plug in any connections when the sewing computer is switched on or
connected to the power supply.

Test 10 Display of active speed

Select test no. 10.
Press foot control or Start-/Stop button and run the machine
at various speeds.
Sollzustand:
Active RPM appears in the display.
(e.g. 5/2/8 = 528 stitches per minute).
Press clr to exit test and to return to service program basic position.
