UIdigipeat
Sets whether to run UI digipeat when the transceiver is used
as a digipeater.
If the received UI frame contains one of the entered aliases
(e.g., "WIDE1-1" for one-hop fill-in digi) of the beginning part
of the packet path that has not yet been digipeated, the alias
is replaced to My Callsign with the digipeat completion flag
( ), and digipeated.
(e.g., WIDE1-1, WIDE2-1 > W4DJY-1 , WIDE2-1)

2 Select [On] or [Off].
[Off]:
Turns OFF UI digipeater function.
[On]:
Activates UI digipeater function.
UIdigi Aliases
Sets the characters to use as aliases for UI digipeat.
1 Access Menu No. 583.
2 The characters that can be entered are the alphabetic
characters "A" to "Z", [0] to [9], "-".
Note:
¡ If [ENT] is pressed while a space is being inserted using the Insert
function, the setting will not be confirmed and an error will occur.
¡ When no alias is set (default), My Callsign is applied and the
digipeat completion flag is added.
¡ An alias can be a string of up to 9 characters × 4 separated by
commas.
¡ When My Callsign is already digipeated, or if the SSID is different,
the packet is not digipeated.
¡ When UIdigipeat is set to "Off", even if UIdigipeat aliases are
set, the packet is not digipeated.
¡ Each Digipeat(MyCall), UIdigipeat, UIfood, UItrace can operate
independently.
UIflood
Sets whether to run UIflood digipeat when the transceiver is
used as a digipeater.
If the received UI frame contains the entered alias
(e.g., "CA" for California), the number of hops (e.g., 3-3) is
decremented by 1 and digipeated.
(e.g., "CA3-3" > "CA3-2")

2 Select [On] or [Off].
[Off]:
Turns OFF UIflood digipeat function.
[On]:
Activates UIflood digipeat function.
UIflood Alias
Sets the characters to use as an alias for UIflood digipeat.
1 Access Menu No. 585.
2 The characters that can be entered are the alphabetic
characters "A" to "Z" and [0] to [9].
Note:
¡ If [ENT] is pressed while a space is being inserted using the
Insert function, the setting will not be confirmed and an error will
occur.
¡ When UIflood is set to "Off", even if UIflood alias is set, digit is
the packet is not digipeated.
UIflood Substitution
Select the callsign substitution method to use when running
UIflood digipeat.
1 Access Menu No. 586.
2 Set [First], [ID], or [NOID].
[Fisrt]:
When there is no callsign in the digipeated UI frame, My
Callsign is embedded. When there is already a callsign in
the digipeated UI frame, the callsign is not embedded or
replaced.
[ID]:
My Callsign is embedded. When there is already a callsign
in the digipeated UI frame, My Callsign will replace the
existing callsign.
[NOID]:
The callsign is not embedded or replaced.
