Installing the Firebox Liners

1. If accessory panels are desired, the metal front ramp must be changed prior to installation. See Page 42.
If accessory logs are desired, the rear panel must be removed to uncover the log positioning tabs prior to
installation of the panels. See Page 42.
2. After all changes have been made, please review how to install the hand bend brackets described on the next
page.
3. Carefully position the rear panel, upper edge first, in the firebox against the rear wall.
4. While holding the rear panel, carefully position the left side panel in the firebox.
5. Carefully position the right side panel in the firebox.

FIELD SERVICE UPGRADES SHALL ONLY BE COMPLETED BY A QUALIFIED SERVICE TECHNICIAN
The four (4) hand bend brackets are included to prevent movement of the firebox panels.
If you encounter any problems, need clarification of these instructions or are not qualified to properly install this kit, contact you
local distributor or dealer.
Read this instruction sheet in its entirety before beginning the installation.
ALL WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS IN THE INSTALLATION AND OPERATION MANUAL PROVIDED WITH THE APPLIANCE APPLY
TO THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
TURN OFF THE APPLIANCE AND ALLOW IT TO COMPLETELY COOL BEFORE PROCEEDING.
Check the contents of the kits upon receipt and check for any damaged or missing parts. If there is hidden damage, notify your
freight company or IHP dealer immediately.
If accessory panels are desired, the metal front ramp must be changed to provide space for the panels. A shorter
metal ramp piece is provided with this fireplace. Slots are provided to allow the shorter metal ramp to slide over the
current screws (Figures
screwdriver can assist in this process). If no accessory porcelain panels or logs are to be installed, skip to Page 46.
