(13) Adjustment of SDH Reference Position (EP1030F/EP1031F Only)
@ Requirement
® As shown In the illustration on the left, use a A4 test chart
ora sheet of 8-1/2" x 14" paper to draw a reference line
20 mm from the left edge.

@ This adjustment should be made after the "adjustment zoom ratio In the crosswise direction".
1.
Place the test chart in the SDH.
Make a one copy using A4 or 8-1/2" « 14" paper ata 1:1
zoom ratio

Check that the reference line forthe Test Chart on the copy
Is within the standards,

Ifthe reference position falls outside the specifications, re-
move the Omament Cover and loosen the SDH Cover
mounting screw; then, move the mounting screw as shown
for adjustment.

Relation between the width on the chart and the width on the
CEE
copy.

front.
22 mm or more ... Move the mounting screw towards the
back.

Only)
@ Requirement
@ As shown in the illustration on the left, use a A4 test chart
or a sheet of 8-1/2" x 14" paper to draw a reference line
20 mm from the leading edge.
Adjust so that on the copy, the width of A at the center
section of the leading edge of the test chart will be within
the specification shown below.

® This adjustment should be made after the adjustment of the Leading Edge Registration on the
main unit and the adjustment of the Feed Direction Zoom Ratio.

Make a one copy using A4 or 8-1/2" x 14" paper ata 1:1

If the leading edge registration of the copy is outside the
standards, use the following procedure to adjust.
