Hardware Construction
1. Connect the Reader and DSUB
Connect the TX wire of the Reader to the DSUB connector's PIN-2(RXD), and GND of the Reader to the DSUB
connector's PIN-5.
2. Connect the Reader via USB-to-Serial Converter to DSUB
As shown below, connect the USB-to-Serial converter and DSUB connector.
3. Connecting the Reader
For pin connection checkup between the Reader and connector, refer to the manual of the Reader.
Ex) The below fi gure shows the pin confi guration of SSA-R1000/1100 reader device, brown wire (RS-232 TX)
and black wire (GND).
