Protective earth (PE) resistance test
• Plug the power cord of the coffee machine into the power socket on the electric
safety tester.
• Switch on the electric safety tester and start the protective earth continuity test.
• Touch the following test points with a test probe and check if the measured
ground resistance is below 0.3 Ohm:
1. Cup heater plate at the rear of the coffee machine: Touch the aluminium rib at
the middle of the underside with the test probe.
