■ Step 3: Setting up the printer driver and the printer port on the
computer
If the printer driver is already installed on your computer, see below.
[A] If the printer driver is not installed

[B] If the printer driver is already installed
Setup a printer port as follows:

Click [Start], select Settings and then click Printers.

Click the printer with the right mouse button.

Click Properties.

Click the Ports tab.

Click [Add Port...].

Click Local Port, then click [New Port...].
The Port Name window is displayed.

Enter the complete network path to the printer (\\computer name\PRINTER).
• Enter the computer name that was created with the Network Setup Tool on
This name must be entered exactly as created in
