HP JetDirect Port Printing using TCP/IP or IPX/SPX
in Windows NT 4.0
This enables you to use the HP JetDirect port printing using the HP JetAdmin software.
TCP/IP or IPX/SPX protocol is used for printing.
Using NetBEUI in Windows NT 4.0
The following are the steps to print using the NetBEUI protocol in Windows NT 4.0.
NOTE:
• When printing a document using NetBEUI, and the data cannot be printed; the printer will halt and an
error message will be displayed.

• When printing directly from a computer to a printer or through a shared computer (server),
step 3 must be performed on all Windows NT 4.0 computers.
