4. Pull the spring handle to the left out from the spring
holder to loosen the tension on the tension wheel for
the drive belt.
5. Remove the belt from the pulley on the tool frame.
6. Hold the front edge of the cutting deck with two
hands and pull forward until it stops.

7. Lift the cutting deck to vertical position until a
click sound is heard. The cutting deck is locked
automatically in the vertical position.
To put the cutting deck in mow position
1. Hold the front edge of the cutting deck with your left
hand.
2. Loosen the lock with your right hand.
3. Lower the cutting deck and push it in until it stops.
4. Put the drive belt around the drive wheel for the
cutting deck.
5. Put the spring handle in the spring holder.
6. Install the front cover.
To examine and adjust the ground
pressure from the cutting deck
A correct ground pressure makes sure that the cutting
deck moves along the surface but does not press too
hard against it.
1. Do a check of the air pressure in the tires. Refer to
Tire pressure on page 32 .
2. Park the product on a level surface.
