Procedure 3-4

Restoring a backup

Use this procedure to restore data to a controller.
Refer to Figure 3-3, The Restore tab on page 3-12.

refer to appropriate controllers' NTPs for restoring from INM, and perform
any steps required before performing INM restore including required
hardware replacements
be at the Network Wide Backup & Restore window
select the Restore tab
select a controller from the Controller List
have admin privileges
Action
Determine the location of the backed up data.
If the data is
in the default location
not in the default location
Click on the Recurring Storage Location: button
The default Recurring Storage Location is the root directory of the controller.
Go to step 7.
Click on the Custom Storage Location: button
Click on Browse.
Select the location that contains the backed up data.
Click on OK.
Select the storage location you want from the Storage Location list
View the details of the backup from the Details list. Confirm that the selected
backup is the one you want to restore.
