Command strings
Command strings you enter appear in bold face followed by the Return or
Enter ( ) symbol as in the following example:
Variable parameters appear in angle brackets, as in the following example:
An explanation of the variable follows the command string, as in the following
example:
Prompts and responses from the system
System prompts and responses appear in courier font as in the following
example:
Directory and path names
Directory and path names, when not part of a command string, appear in
courier font as in the following example:
