STEP12: Insert the PC Card into the "/A:/" drive the old VPS Server Card
(NTVQ09AB).
STEP13: Insert the old VPS Server Card (NTVQ09AB) into the IPE slot in the
switch vacated by the VPS card (NTVQ09AB) to be replaced. Insert all other
previous VPS client cards (NTVQ09AB) into their respective slots.
STEP14: The Media Card (NTVQ09BA) should boot up as an unassigned card. All
the VPS cards (NTVQ09AB) should also boot up as unassigned cards.
STEP15:When the Media Card (NTVQ09BA) has booted up, assign it an IP
address and reboot the Media Card (NTVQ09BA). See "Assigning the Internet
Protocol address" on page 32.
STEP16: Once booted up, on the Media Card (NTVQ09BA) perform a PC Card
Restore using the backup data received in STEP2. See "PC Card Flash Memory
Backup and Restore" on page 64.The restore process on the Media Card
(NTVQ09BA) will restore data previously stored on both PC cards onto a single
card in the "/A:/" drive. Reboot the Media Card (NTVQ09BA).
STEP17: The Media Card (NTVQ09BA) should boot up as a Server card.
STEP18: From the Browser User Interface(BUI) on the Media Card (NTVQ09BA)
Server, assign all unassigned VPS cards (NTVQ09AB). These cards should reboot
and boot up as clients to the new Media Card Server Card (NTVQ09BA) .
STEP19: Installation Complete.
Adding a Card to a Mixed Card Multicard Group
In the case of a mixed card multicard group, the Server Card will already be a Media
Card (NTVQ09BA) and the Group will use a single PC Card configuration.
The installation process is:
STEP1: Install the new Agent Greeting Card (VPS (NTVQ09AB) or Media Card
(NTVQ09BA)). See "Installing the Agent Greeting Card" on page 13.
STEP2: From the Browser User Interface(BUI) of the Server Card, assign the new
Agent Greeting card as a client. The card should reboot and boot up as a client to
the Server Card.
