In the TOD menu in the TUI, the main greeting (default or skillset greeting) is
included in the playback of the recorded TOD greeting. This allows the agent to fine
tune intonation of both greetings and the delay between the greetings so that the
concatenated greeting sounds natural.
Three Time of Day introductory greetings can be recorded
Morning (Default interval: 00:00 to 12:00)
Afternoon (Default interval: 12:00 to 18:00)
Evening (Default interval: 18:00 to 00:00).
To change the interval start times for the TOD greetings go to the Preferences Page
in the BUI (see Table 16 on page 56).
The Agent Greeting Card date and time is synchronised to the Meridian CPU date
and time. Therefore, the TOD greeting played is dictated by the local time on the
Switch.
Using the Telephony User Interface
Time Of Day Intervals
The following rules apply to the setting of Time of Day
Greeting intervals in the BUI:
1. Time Of Day Interval Start Times must be exactly on
the hour. For example: 00:00, 08:00, 15:00, 23:00 etc....
2. The Morning Interval start time must be later than or
equal to Midnight (00:00).
3. The Afternoon Interval start time must be later than or
equal to the Morning interval start time.
4. The Evening Interval start time must be later than or
equal to the Afternoon interval start time.
