• Has video data reception failed due to the high processing
load on a module caused by network communication as a
result of receiving and saving the video data at the same
time with the following settings?
- Multiple recording settings are used in one module.
- A file server is specified as the save destination in the
saving path setting.

Corrective action
• Open a project written to a CPU module when a recording
file was saved in GX Works3 before starting offline
monitoring.
Corrective action
• Check if a correct value is set for the time in the network
camera.
The time can be checked by using a dedicated tool for the
camera. For details, refer to the manual for the network
camera used.
Review the system configuration so that the power of the
network camera does not turn OFF when a trigger is satisfied.
• Refer to the troubleshooting described in the following
manual to take corrective action.
GX VideoViewer Version 1 Operating Manual
Open the recording.xml file in the recording file and refer to the
contents the element name of which is 'FileName' to restore
the file name.
Review the system configuration so that the power of the
network camera does not turn OFF when a trigger is satisfied.
• Change the setting values of resolution, video frame rate,
and video quality to lower ones in the module extended
parameter. (Page 103 Module Extended Parameters
(Camera Recorder Module))
• If there is a time when the communication load is
significantly high, consider countermeasures.
• Set "Operation at video data saving" to "Video data receiving
takes priority" in the module parameter.
• Change the save destination to an SD memory card in the
saving path setting if a file server is specified.
• Review the setting for the event detection function of the
network camera.
• Review the module extended parameters. (Page 103
Module Extended Parameters (Camera Recorder Module))
• Set it longer sufficient to capture a video when a camera
event occurs.
