Internal Web Pages

This section introduces using the Internal Web Page to operate the FOX3 matrix switcher,
including:

The matrix can be configured through its LAN port, or AV LAN port on the IPCP Pro control
card, connected via a LAN or WAN using a web browser such as the Microsoft

cannot be erased or overwritten.

Access the FOX3 Matrix Switcher internal web page as follows:

Connect the FOX3 device to a LAN or WAN using the rear panel RJ-45 LAN port (see
figure 2
on page 9), or AV LAN port on the IPCP Pro control card (see
page 15).
NOTE: If connected to the FOX3 Matrix through the IPCP Pro Matrix Q xi control
card, use the AV LAN port. DO NOT use the LAN port.
Open a web browser on a PC connected on the same LAN or WAN.
NOTE: Compatible web browsers are Microsoft

Enter the FOX3 Matrix IP address in the browser Address field.
NOTES:
• If the local system administrators have not changed the value, the factory-
specified default is 192.168.254.254.
The default IP address for the USB connection is 203.0.113.22 (this IP
•
address cannot be changed).
Press the <Enter> key on the keyboard.
The FOX3 is password protected. Enter user or admin in the Username field.
Enter the password in the Password field when prompted (see
page 60).
NOTE: The factory configured passwords for all accounts on this device have
been set to the device serial number. In the event of a complete system reset, the
passwords convert to the default, which is extron for the Admin and User (see
Roles and Permissions Panel
