German Ergonomics Notice

The Compaq 2890 series of computers have been evaluated and
found to comply with the requirements of ZH 1/618, 1980. The
computers were evaluated using MS-DOS Version 3.31 or higher,
BASICA/T, and the EGA_THIN.CPI character set, as published
by Compaq. In order to meet the minimum contrast requirements
of ZH 1/618 when used in a negative polarity mode to display
light characters on a dark background, the character colors red and
blue should be used in the high intensity/bright color mode.
Positive polarity displays (dark characters on a light background)
do not meet the background reflection requirements of ZH 1/618.
