right, be sure to carry out step 6. If this action is not sufficient,
the paper may be torn or be left in the copier.

7 Turn the knob in the direction of the arrow (clockwise)
and pull out the transfer belt unit.

8 Remove any misfed paper on the transfer belt.
Caution

- DO NOT touch the fuser unit and the metal area around it.
Since they are very hot, you could be burned or the shock
could cause an injury to your hand in the equipment.
8 - DO NOT touch the transfer belt. Touching it may cause
image failure.
9 If the misfed paper is gripped between the rollers,
remove it by rotating the lever in the direction shown.

If the misfed paper cannot be removed in step 9,
raise the exit guide of the fuser unit and remove
it.
