Power Up with the Top Case Removed
To check voltages and fans, you need to power the projector up with the top case removed.
CAUTION When you power the projector up, there is voltage present on the controller ECA, power supply and
ballast. Be very careful where you probe and where you touch.
1 Remove the following parts:
Front bezel (see page 11)
NOTE If you only want to check the interlock switch, remove the front bezel, then refer to the
pictures below for the location of the switch.
Rear Bezel (see page 15)
Top case (see page 18)
Once the top case is off, you have access to the interlock switch on the front of the ballast.
2 Defeat the interlock switch with a nylon screwdriver or spacer.
