CAUTION Pry carefully to avoid breaking the optical engine chassis or damaging the color wheel. The glass
color wheel is exposed in the TDP-P4, and can be easily broken if care is not taken. A broken
color wheel requires optical engine replacement.

As the blower separates from the optical engine chassis, tape residue will be left behind. Clean
away this residue to ensure good adhesion of the replacement blower.
Assembly Notes

Peel away the protective backing from one side of the double-sided adhesive tape. Apply the tape to
the optical engine chassis. Then remove the protective backing from the front side of the adhesive
tape.

Position the optical engine blower carefully so that the discharge duct aligns with the opening in the
optical engine chassis. Then press the blower firmly against the adhesive tape.
