If the Control Display does not change to REMOTE CONTROL, the IEEE-488
interface is not working properly. Check Step 3 of the "IEEE-488 Port Setup
Procedure" to verify gpib is selected as the Host port, and to verify the gpib port
address used in this procedure. If all is correct, check the ZT-1444A jumper and DIP
switch settings (Appendix C), and finally cabling between the PC and 5820A.
