Order
The machine setting must be carried out in the sequence as described
herein.

5.1 Tooth clearance setting of form stitch gear

Proper setting
The tooth clearance of the form stitch gear should be as small as possible.
No overlap instead of clearance, however, may arise in any mutual posi-
tion of the gears.

(1) - Conical worm
(2) - Regulating ring
1. Dismantle the arm cover ( p. 13).
2. Loosen 2 screws (3) of the regulating ring (2).
3. Loosen 4 screws (4) on the conical worm (1).
