6.8 Foot lifting with solenoid

Proper setting
The foot stroke with the solenoid is 12 mm.
If the foot is lifted, the solenoid movable core should be at the stop onto
the fixed core.

(1) - Solenoid cover
(2) - Screw
(3) - Solenoid core
(4) - Roller
1. Place the foot onto the throat plate.
2. Unscrew the solenoid cover (1).
3. Loosen the screw (2).
4. Turn the lever (5) with the roller (4) almost on touch with the arm side.
5. Tighten the screw (2).
6. Remove the solenoid core (3).
7. Loosen the screw (6) and try to turn the screw (7) to any position.
8. Insert the core (5) back in the solenoid, press it down and find out how
9. Lock the screw (7) position with the screw (6).
10. Mount the solenoid cover (1).
