Commissioning and Testing
This section provides detailed information on the following:

NOTE
Depending on the local service provider's requirements the technician may
be required to perform additional tests beyond the ONT on the Customer
Provided Equipment (CPE) wiring and/or equipment. If this is the case, a
power meter may be used to test the upstream and downstream signal types
for voice, data, and video.

Turn-Up
Initial turn-up of the ONT involves applying power and observing LEDs for status infor-
mation. To complete the turn-up of the ONT, complete the following steps:
1. Plug the green UPS connector into the male connector of the UPS.
2. Check to ensure the AC, output, and battery LEDs are green and functioning. The UPS is
