Troubleshooting
5.1 Overview
The OneStor SP-3584 enclosure system includes a Storage Enclosure Processor (SEP) and associated
monitoring and control logic to enable it to diagnose problems within the enclosure's power, cooling,
PSU and drive systems.
5.2 Initial Start-Up Problems
5.2.1 Power Fault
Ensure that you have wired up the enclosure system correctly and that mains power is present. Call your
supplier for replacements if:
• Cords are missing or damaged.
• Plugs are incorrect.
• Cords are too short.
5.2.2 Host Computer Does Not Recognize Enclosure

Check that the interface cables from the enclosure to the host computer are fitted correctly.
Check that drive carrier modules have been correctly installed (see section
