2.3

INTENDED USE

This machine was designed and built to cut grass.
The use of special attachments provided for by
the Manufacturer as original equipment or which
may be purchased separately, allows this work to
be done in various operating modes, illustrated in
this manual or the instructions that accompany the
single attachments.
Likewise, the intended use can be amplified to
include other functions by applying supplementary
tools (if provided for by the Manufacturer), abiding
by the restrictions and conditions indicated in the
instructions accompanying the equipment.
The machine must be used by one op-
erator.
The stability of the machine is reduced
if a front attachment other than the cut-
ting device assembly is used.
The machine must be used with at
least the cutting assembly or other
front attachment mounted.

2.3.1 User type definition

This machine is intended for use by consumers,
i.e. non-professional operators.
The machine is intended for "DIY" use only.

IMPROPER USE

Any other usage not in keeping with the
above-mentioned ones may be hazardous and
harm persons and/or damage things.
Examples of improper use may include, but are
not limited to:
• transporting people, children or animals on the
machine or on a trailer;
• towing or pushing loads without the use of the
specified attachment for towing;
• use of the machine for riding over unstable,
slippery, icy, stony, rough, marshy ground or
puddles that do not allow the consistency of
the ground to be assessed;
• using the cutting means on surfaces other than
grass.
Improper use of the machine will in-
validate the warranty, relieve the Man-
ufacturer from all liabilities, and the
user will consequently be liable for all
and any damage or injury to himself or
others.

SAFETY SIGNS

The safety signs on the machine inform the user
about the behaviour to be followed when using
the machine, especially in operations that require
caution and attention.
WARNING. Indicates a hazard. It is nor-
mally combined with other signs that
indicate the particularity of the hazard.
Warning! Read the instruction manual
carefully before using the machine.
Warning! Beware of any objects left lying
around. Beware of any persons in the work
area.
Warning! Always wear protective earplugs.
Warning! The machine has not been
approved for use on public roads.
Max 10°
pressure is an essential condition for obtaining
good results from using the machine.

2.5.1 Stickers (4)

Parking brake lock indication.
The sticker is located:
• near the gear engagement/release lever.

Warning! This machine, with origi-
nal accessories installed, can pro-
ceed with a maximum inclination of
10°, regardless of the direction.
Tyre pressure. The label shows the
optimal tyre pressure values - see
chap. "0 TECHNICAL SPECIFI-
CATIONS TABLE". Correct tyre
Gear engagement/release indica-
tion (4:A).
Indication of the maximum towable
weight (4: B).
Warning! Burns hazard (4:C).
Do not touch the muffler.
