Chapter 5: Troubleshooting
Diagnosis
During normal operation, this condition indicates
a problem with the configuration file. Use the
Utility diskette to restore the factory default
configuration. If this error persists, contact your
service representative.
During diskette operations, this condition
indicates a problem with the Utility diskette.
• Make sure the diskette is not write protected.
• Media can be defective or diskette was copied
incorrectly. Use diskcopy to make a new
image, or download a copy from the Web

• Problem during a restore operation (diskette
mode 2)
- Configuration data was not on diskette.
Perform another Retrieve, or build
Recovery file again.
- Configuration data on diskette was for a
model 5500 that is different than current
5500 control unit. Configuration data
should not be shared between units.
- The configuration data on the diskette is at a
higher firmware level than your current
5500 Control Unit. You should update your
5500 Control Unit to the latest level.
Check all twinax connections and cables. If this
problem persists after you shutdown and unplug
and replug the power cord, then the twinax
network configuration is incorrect. Open the
ConfigurationPlus program in your web browser
and correct the twinax network configuration.
