Step 5. Continue adding original wiring components (patch panels, punch-
down blocks, and so on) one at a time to the configuration, as shown in Figure
79, until the failing component is isolated.
If the device does not connect, check for a patch panel or a punch-down block
that is defective or mis-wired.
