Error messages are numerically encoded in this file. Using any text editor,
open ndislog.txt. Match the Message ID information with the following listing
to determine the error source for your computer. For Windows 95/98, the
format of the message is as follows:
• Adapter Name
• Message ID Number
• User Data area containing additional error information (optional).
Message ID Description
0x00000006 One or more registry entries are corrupted. Reinstall
the IBM 5250 Express TCP/IP Driver to correct this
problem.
An attempt to allocate memory for the adapter has
0x00000007
failed.
The registry key could not be opened. Reinstall the
0x00000008
IBM 5250 Express TCP/IP Driver to correct this
problem.
The registry indicates that an IBM 5250 PCI network

adapter is installed but one could not be found. Be sure
that the adapter is securely attached into your machine
and that you have specified the correct adapter type in
the installation program. (e.g. PCI, ISA, PC Card)
