• If you have a raised floor, the length from the raised floor to the subfloor
underneath
• The distance across the floor to the device
• The distance from the floor to the device
When determining cable lengths, make sure you do not exceed the maximum
cable lengths for your configuration. For UTP, refer to Figure 7 for a list of
maximum cable lengths for the various models of the IBM 7299.
