2.4 Fault Analysis Flow
2.4.1 Self-diagnostic function
The service technician can clearly grasp the contents of faults by the following means:
1) Indication on the LCD display
2) Error code indication in the communication management record
2.4.2 Before starting diagnosis
Before starting diagnosis, the service technician should set recording paper and produces a dial list and
system setting list. Check that no received document data is stored in memory.
Before starting diagnosis, turn off the power and check the following items:
1) Is the power cord plug inserted correctly?
2) Are all connectors connected securely?
Notes : When replacing parts, confirm that the amount of memory left is 100% and that there is
no memory reception document. Then, turn off the power switch and pull out the power
cord plug to start work.
Do not touch the terminal part of any connector, otherwise, a poor connection may
result.
