(2) Downloading Firmware
The firmware that controls the copier, language information and function setting information can be up-
graded over the line via the network, from the RDC Center. Either of the following two conditions can be
selected:
• NO JOB IN MEMORY:
• ANYTIME:

Note: If ANYTIME is selected when there are reserved fax jobs, firmware downloading will delete all the
fax jobs.
After the copier is rebooted by turning it off then on, after downloading the firmware, the copier will
be controlled with downloaded data.
