[8] CHECKING AND MAINTENANCE (GENERATOR)

(1) Generator

(A) Check Points of Every 300 Hours
(B) Check Points of Every 1000 Hours
(C) Check Points of Every 1 year
Brush Wear
1. Check to see if the brush has worn to more than 1/2 below the
standard dimensions.
2. If wear exceeds the allowable limit, replace.

1. Check to see if there is no unusual wear and surface roughness.

Checking Ball Bearing
1. Measure radial dislocation of the outer ring.
2. If the axial dislocation exceeds the allowable limit, replace the
bearing.

1. Measure the I.D. of the bearing housing.
2. If the wear exceeds the allowable limit, replace the end bracket.
