aligning with the edge of the groove. Press the gasket firmly and fully into the groove.
Forehead comfort pad.
Detach the comfort pad from the headband. Wrap the replacement comfort pad around
the headband and re-attach (Fig 21).
Head, neck and shoulder cover (M-100/M-300 Series only).
Remove the black visor gasket from the groove (Fig 20). Insert headtop into cover and
pull the air inlet fully through the opening in the back of the cover. Insert the gasket on the
cover firmly and fully into the groove on the top of the visor frame.
Flame resistant headtop cover.
Remove the black visor gasket from the groove (Fig 20). Insert the gasket on the cover
firmly and fully into the groove on the top of the visor frame. Pull loop on headtop cover
over the air inlet on the headtop.
The air inlet fits through the hole in the back of the cover. Note: If fitting the cover in
combination with the ear muff assembly, please see the ear muff assembly instructions
below.
Chin strap.
Attach the chin strap to the attachment points on the head suspension (Fig 22).
Headtop mounted ear muff assembly (M-100/M-300 Series only).
Locate the attachment points (Fig 23 and 24 ). As worn, the right side mount is marked
'X' and the left side mount is marked 'O' (Fig 25). The earmuff should be attached as
shown in Fig 26.
Use a screwdriver to push in the attachment points before screwing the ear muff
assembly as tightly as possible to the shell.
Note: If using the ear muff assembly in combination with the flame resistant headtop
cover, the attached ear muffs must first be pulled through the slits in the headtop cover
before pulling the loop on the cover over the air inlet.
STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION
These products should be stored in the packaging provided in dry, clean conditions away
from sources of high temperature and petrol and solvent vapours.
^ Do not store in direct sunlight.
Do not store outside the temperature range -30°C to +50°C or with humidity above 90%.
If the product will be stored for an extended period of time before use, the suggested
storage temperature is 4°C to 35°C.
When stored as stated, the maximum life (shelf life plus in-use life) is 3 years from date of
manufacture.
The original packaging is suitable for transporting the product throughout the European
Union.

DESCRIPTION DU SYSTEME
Les coiffes série M3M™ Versaflo™ constituent une protection respiratoire adéquate et
sont conçues pour être utilisées avec une unité de filtration ou d'adduction d'air
homologuée (voir Guide des références) pour fournir une protection respiratoire. Ces
produits répondent aux exigences de la norme EN12941 (Appareils de protection
respiratoire - Appareils filtrants à ventilation assistée) et de la norme EN14594 (Appareils
de protection respiratoire - Appareils respiratoires isolants à adduction d'air comprimé à
débit continu).
Note : En cas d'utilisation de régulateurs et de tuyaux d'alimentation en air comprimé
