Legend: In case of 6DL3100–8AB the extensions for the use with FEF function have a gray background.
In case of 6DL3100–8AC the extensions depend of the configured FEF.

1
Signal states at the binary inputs (DI) which can be used optionally as binary outputs at
the front connector X7A/ X7B.
Bit 15 corresponds to DI/DO 16 (pin X719) – Bit 0 corresponds to DI/DO 1 (pin X72)
2
Qualifier of the digital outputs (DO)
In the case of discrepancies between the specified and the actual output signal state of the
DO the respective channel–specific qualifier is set to "1".
3
Low byte:
Qualifier of the analog outputs (AO)
In the case of discrepancies between the specified and the actual output current of the AO
the respective channel–specific qualifier is set to "1".
4
Signal states of the binary inputs (DI) at the front connectors X6A/ X6B.
Bit 0 corresponds to DI 1 (pin X6–2) – The input is simultaneously counter input K 1.
Bit 1 corresponds to DI 2 (pin X6–3) – The input is simultaneously counter input K 2.
Bit 2 corresponds to DI 3 (pin X6–4) – The input is simultaneously counter input K 3.
Bit 3 is not assigned at present (reserve).
Bit 4 corresponds to DI 5 (pin X6–6)
:
Bit 15 corresponds to DI 16 (pin X6–19)

Analog inputs AI 1 to AI 12:
The analog values are transferred in fixed–point format. The representation corresponds to
the SIMATIC format. Measuring range, see below.
Bit 15 is the preceding sign (1 = negative). Bit 0 is the qualifier.
The qualifier is set when the specified measuring–range limits are exceeded or the detec-
tion hardware of the analog input is faulty.
