Commissioning / Operation / Maintenance
Explanation
Display of internal errors, meaning that the self–diagnosis has
recognized errors (e.g. voltage monitoring, CPU or memory self–
diagnosis, etc.).
Display of external errors (e.g. short–circuiting at outputs, life–
zero, etc.)
Display of PROFIBUS–DP errors (for example, no message traf-
fic) for PROFIBUS–DP connection X3A
Display of PROFIBUS–DP errors (for example, no message traf-
fic) for PROFIBUS–DP connection X3B
Display of serious errors at the redundant AddFEM unit
The outputs are disabled.
Procedures for setting the PROFIBUS DP addresses and for re-
setting the AddFEM can be executed.
The key can be removed in this position so that unauthorized
changing of the operating mode is not possible.
Only for 6DL3100–8AB/–8AC:
Preprocessing function (FEF) is executed.
In the case of a module redundancy a master/reserve changeo-
ver is forced, so that the module becomes a "forced reserve".
Outputs are de–activated due to commissioning or maintenance
work. AddFEM is in the state STOP or, in the case of a module
redundancy, the AddFEM is the reserve (passive).
"USER–LED": Can be used application–specifically in the prepro-
cessing function (FEF) (is controlled like outputs).
Slave address (PROFIBUS–DP A and B) is set via switch opera-
tion (input procedure). The selected address is displayed via a
signal LED (DI).
"USER–LED": Can be used application–specifically in the prepro-
cessing function (is controlled like outputs).
AddFEM is a reserve unit at present in case of module redun-
dancy.
Execution of the preprocessing functions
