2.13 Adding a Music Source

You can connect two sources of music to the CPM for use with the Music On Hold and Background
Music features.
A third option is to use an internal musical tune or tone can be used for callers on hold. If you use this
option is used, the MC1 connector is not used.

2.13.1 SELECTING INTERNAL MUSIC TUNE FOR MUSIC CHANNEL MC1

1. Remove the KSU cover (four screws at each corner) of KSU1.
2. Connect a static discharge wrist strap to a suitable earth ground. Be sure that the strap is touch-
ing bare skin.
