INDeX 30
The INDeX 30 supports SNMP management access across IP connections. This
includes the viewing of cassette information and the sending of fault alarms.
The SNMP program used must first have the INDeX .mib file installed. This file is
available from the INDeX web site. The INDeX system must also be se tup with
SNMP details provided by the network manager.
To enable SNMP Operation
1. Setup and test IP networking operation, see page 24.
2. From the Administration menu, select System, then Installation, Network
setup and SNMP Setup.
3. Enter the SNMP trap address, GET community string and SET community
string provided by the network manager.
