INDeX 30
Use the following procedure to install the optional IVM Lite daughter board.
Installing the IVM daughter board:
1. Ensure that the mains supply is switched off and, if fitted, the Back up Battery is
also switched off Remove the front cover from the cabinet.
With the front cover removed, hazardous voltages can exist on the PSU board.
Both the ac supply and the Back-up Battery can generate these voltages.
2. Before removing the IVM daughter board from it's protective wrapping, wear an
earth strap on your wrist and ensure that it is connected to the INDeX 30's
protected earth.
3. Locate and push the IVM Lite board on to the high density D-type (120 pin)
socket on the mother board as shown below. Secure onto the stand-off pillar
using the screw and washer provided.

4. Replace the front cover of the cabinet and secure with the two retaining screws.
5. Reconnect the ac mains supply and, if fitted, switch the Battery Back-up switch
to On.
6. The IVM Lite Voice Prompts must be down loaded on to the IVM Lite memory.
Use the instructions given in "INDeX 30 Software Upload" on page 45 with the
"Local Source File" and the "Remote Destination File" both set to mb.
7. Voice mail boxes must be allocated to terminals (see page 27).
